Easter Sunday, April 5th   |   10:30 am     |     428 Union St. Emporia

You are invited…

Easter is a celebration, but it is also an invitation.

If you have been feeling tired, distracted, or unsure lately, I want you to know you are not alone. Life can be heavy. Questions can linger. Faith can feel distant.

Easter reminds us that death does not have the final word. The tomb was empty. Jesus is alive. And because He is alive, hope is not wishful thinking. It is real.

You do not have to have everything figured out to come. You do not have to clean yourself up first. You do not have to be certain about what you believe.

Just come.

Join us Easter Sunday at 10:30 AM at Embrace Church in Emporia. Bring your questions. Bring your family. Bring whatever you are carrying.

There is room for you here. We will save you a seat.

Peace and Hope,
Pastor Mark

  • You can plan on about 75 minutes. If you are running late, that’s okay. We would still love to see you.

  • We are far more concerned with you being here than we are with what you wear. Dress comfortably.

  • We will have a time of music, prayer, and teaching. You should only participate at the level you are comfortable with. You won’t be called out or put on the spot.

  • We welcome our kids to learn and worship God with us each week in a variety of ways. If you would like your child to stay with you during service, we provide kids packs with crayons, coloring sheets, and a page just for them to take notes and engage in our teaching.

During our sermon, we will dismiss kids in grades K-3 to a time of teaching designed for them led by passionate volunteers who are trained and background checked.

Last, we have a parent's room where you can take your infant or toddler if you are more comfortable with that option. Don't worry if your kiddos get a little noisy! We are glad they are here!

Good Friday

Apr. 3 | 7 pm

Tenebrae is a quiet, reflective service that walks through the final hours of Jesus’ life. Through Scripture readings, prayer, and the gradual dimming of light, we remember the weight of the cross and the depth of Christ’s sacrifice. It is a time to slow down and sit with the seriousness of Good Friday before we celebrate the joy of Easter.

This service is more contemplative than our Sunday gatherings. It allows space for reflection, repentance, and gratitude as we remember that the cross was not the end of the story. Join us Friday at 7:00 PM as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday.

Sunrise service

Apr. 4 | 6:45 am

1375 N Hwy 99, Emporia, KS 66801

Join us early Easter morning as we gather at sunrise to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. There is something powerful about welcoming the light of a new day while remembering that the tomb is empty and Christ is alive. This outdoor service is simple, joyful, and centered on the hope that resurrection brings.

After the service, we will share breakfast together. If you are able, bring a dish to share and stay for fellowship. Whether you come for the quiet beauty of the morning or the celebration that follows, you are welcome to join us.

Easter Egg Hunt

Apr. 4 | 1 pm

All are invited to our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Fremont Park on Saturday, April 4th!

We will have eggs for littles all the way up to kids in 6th grade! We would love for you to come out and let your kiddos enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt will begin at 1 pm sharp!

Easter Sunday is a celebration of resurrection hope. We gather to declare what changes everything: the tomb is empty and Jesus is alive. Through worship, Scripture, and a clear message, we will celebrate the victory of Christ and the new life He offers.

Whether you have been part of a church for years or you are simply curious about faith, you are welcome here. Come as you are and join us at 10:30 AM as we celebrate the risen Savior and the hope that is available to all of us.
